This year I made all the ornaments by hand (as well as the presents). I made cranberry garlands, pinecones strings, painted balls, and watercolor ornaments. Jake found some things around the house like yarn balls, shells, and feathers. It's a fun mix of old and new, handmade and natural.
There is still no topper though. I haven't found one that would suffice, so I just might go with the traditional foil star.
Jake's robots? You could write another book about the caterpillar cat. I'm not exactly sure what the guy in the 4th picture is but he makes me laugh. :)
