Moving day finally came. And it stayed for a very long 12 hours. And then revisited the next day. But finally we are done (almost) and only the fununpackingorganizingdecoratingmorecleaningeatingterriblefoodbecausewehavenone part still awaits us.
(Look at all our pretty floors, the bottoms of my feet are quite dirty though.)

If there’s a thing, a scene, maybe, an image that you want to see real bad, that you need to see but it doesn’t exist in the world around you, at least not in the form that you envision, then you create it so that you can look at it and have it around, or show it to other people who wouldn’t have imagined it because they perceive reality in a more narrow, predictable way. And that’s it. That’s all an artist does.

(I'm rereading Skinny Legs and All. While I read, I think about when I read the book the first time. It seems like it was so far way away, but it was just a couple years ago. And oh, what a few years can do...)

Oh to live on the beach.
(I would tide pool hunt daily)

fill in the blank

I didn't look at my camera setting for several pictures, so of course they were overexposed. But there is something so mysterious about these. (I know what is suppose to be there, but do you?)

No matter how many times I visit the coast, I seem to always have to take pictures.

We visited the coast with Jake's mom & brother on Mother's Day (along with many other beachcombers), and it was such a beautiful day. This week has been busy, hectic, but oh so much fun. Having visitors is always great AND we finally have found an apartment! (now we just need to pack & move....)
