Somehow summer is just arriving in Portland. It got over 100 degrees today, and I felt it. There's nothing that says summer more than cut grass and canning. And no, I didn't can today in this weather, but I did make lots of salads for tomorrow's mini excursion.
(can you say swimming holes in the Gorge?)
I've heard that it's the same way in Seattle, where my husband is from; summer doesn't start until after the 4th of July. Hope you're enjoying the sun and summer while it's around.
ReplyDeleteoh we had quite the heat for about 2 days, now i believe our summer may be winding down. i think seattle may be worse than portland though, not quite as summery.
